Icons of SS Peter and Paul

Just before Christmas Sr Petra Clare sent the icons for the church of  Ss Peter and Paul in Longbenton. Davey put them up a week past Thursday. What with snow and me forgetting to take my camera it has taken  a while to get some photos together.

I`m glad that the church now has icons of its patron saints.

Lovely! Looks like a real church! And a massive improvement to the rag doll Jesus!

Father, your addition of these icons and the placing of a suitable crucifix to replace the former, odd-styled crucifix, have made the Church a much nobler place, and a much more aesthetically pleasing setting for Divine Worship. Well done.

They look impressive and greatly improve the look of the church. Re the delay in photographing do you no longer keep your camera in your car?

Thanks everyone. SB I wasn`t aware I used to keep my camera in my car. Even if I did the snow was not very car-friendly last week!

Off topic, Father, but....

With the news that King Richard 111
has been confirmed as lying unmarked in a car park in Leicester, shoudn't we be pressing for his reburial to be conducted according to Catholic rites?
And those rites must be according to the custom of Sarum.
