Brinkburn Success!

I`m glad to say a respectable-sized congregation of about 40 came to Brinkburn yesterday so thanks to those who sugetsed we hold the Mass agani this year. The weather was glorious and the Mass went very well. Thanks to all involved, the singers and servers.

Absolutely delighted, Fr.

On to next year and an increased congregation.

Congratulations.

Lovely! Even if the weather helped, I think it is realistic to hope that the treasures of the Church are gradually becoming more appreciated, as time goes by.

It certainly lends itself to celebrations of the EF carrying on the traditions of the Augustinian canons who built & inhabited the priory in years gone by. I'm sure the whole serving team were priviledged to be a part of a beautiful occasion.
A Catholic couple from Merseyside had been in the area for the weekend & only arrived near the end of Mass. They heard the music & didn't know that the usus antiquior was alive & well.
Leo is sending you a DVD of photos he took.

eA very fine building somewhat reminiscent of the Church of St. Cross, Newbury.

Have you ever considered having a York Use celebration?
