Obnoxiously
While at a concelebrated Mass tonight, during the `Lord have mercy` from the Israeli Mass, it occurred to me that I should say how delighted I am to see that the Obnoxiously Pious blog has sprung back into life. Today there is a very thoughtful article about the coming Motu Proprio which dares to suggest that it may help priests who draw spiritual strength from the traditional Mass.

I find it hard to believe that ditti-fied nonsense is still being peddled. Poor you. I rememeber it vaguely from an ageing 70s parish I used to live in down in Essex. Children hated it - the oldies it wallowed in it. Roll on the MP!
