I thought Brinkburn was Augustinian ;-)

Actually, I think the Benedictine sung office is glorious, and I am thinking of teaching my schola some of the hours from the Antiphonale Monasticum of 1934. It is the most genuinely 'traditional' of office books, since it was unaffected either by the reforms of the Hymnale by Urban VIII or by the re-casting of the cursus of Psalms by St Pius X.

This is wonderful. I had a sneak preview of the programme last week up at Ushaw. Shame I can't make it, but alas, I can't be in two places at once as I've got an all-day rehehearsal for our forthcoming sung EF Masses in Halifax & Middlesbrough respectively.
