Thanks to a reader who drew my attention to the following event. The
Schola Gregoriana of Cambridge, founded by the famous Mary Berry, is holding a chant weekend at Ushaw College, Durham, on 26-28 June 2009. I wish them every success. They learn chant for both forms of the Roman Rite. Jane Teresa has
a post about it with some reflections and a slightly alarming title.

Was being a little silly when it came to choosing a title, I'll admit!
Excellent news!
With the Priests' Training Conference also coming up, is this a new flowering of tradition at Ushaw under Bishop Cunningham?
Who knows? I`m sure any new bishop would be keen to follow the liturgical directives of the Holy Father.
As so often, Thomas More is joking! He is, isn't he?
The Schola Gregoriana will be taking workshops at the Evangelium conference in Reading, 7-9 August.
