A speedy response here from the Vatican Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity to yesterday`s Anglican decision to go ahead with the consecration of female bishops.

What a strange culture in which women are free to dress up in men's clothing but men are not free to follow "suit".

It'll be interesting to see what happens when female 'bishops' want to go even further and become 'archbishops'. Will the whole CofE be run by a female 'Archbishop of Canterbury'?
