It has to be a singularly sweet and sometimes bitter-sweet blessing for the priest to be with people in their most precious and intimate moments of their life and death. When you think of it, a priest is (or should!) be there for the most important times of your life.gemoftheoceanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05521207668262592414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35539648.post-19613718953352742302009-02-08T01:22:00.000+00:002009-02-08T01:22:00.000+00:00Years ago my wife miscarried. Do remember Father that though you may only spend small amounts of time with those you attend, and may not hear of them again, they will remember you and thank you in their hearts for many years. Sleep well and God bless.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35539648.post-13311888003550444982009-02-07T19:27:00.000+00:002009-02-07T19:27:00.000+00:00Thank you. Once Padre Pio, when he was prevented by the Holy Office from hearing confessions and saying Mass, said: "How can it be? These are the only things I can do!". Indeed: the most precious things on earth.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
